Job Title: Restaurant Bartender

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Restaurant Bartender to join our team at Crowne Plaza Baton Rouge. As a key member of our food and beverage team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for our patrons.

Responsibilities:
  • Take patron orders and deliver a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including wine, beer, liquor, and mixed drinks.
  • Responsible for inventory, ordering, and stocking of all wine, liquor, and beer, maintaining an inventory of glassware and promptly communicating any shortages to management.
  • Complete all restocking and cleaning duties by performing opening and closing side work as instructed.
  • Check customers' age by verifying identification cards and serve alcoholic beverages to patrons per federal, state, local, and company laws and regulations.
  • Receive payments and settle patron checks and tabs, as well as correctly record daily sales totals in the point of sale system.
Qualifications:
  • Outstanding time management and organizational skills.
  • We prefer some experience working in the food service industry.
  • This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the patron first and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers.
  • Candidates must have completed high school or received similar certification (GED).
