Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Bar Service Professional to join our team at Crowne Plaza Baton Rouge. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests and ensuring a memorable experience at our bar.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take patron orders and deliver a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including wine, beer, liquor, and mixed drinks.
  • Responsible for inventory management, ordering, and stocking of all wine, liquor, and beer, as well as maintaining an inventory of glassware and communicating any shortages to management.
  • Complete all restocking and cleaning duties by performing opening and closing side work as instructed.
  • Verify customer age by checking identification cards and serve alcoholic beverages to patrons in accordance with federal, state, local, and company laws and regulations.
  • Receive payments and settle patron checks and tabs, as well as correctly record daily sales totals in our point of sale system.

Requirements:

  • Outstanding time management and organizational skills to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred.
  • A strong emphasis on customer service is essential, with a focus on providing exceptional experiences for our guests.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and coworkers.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
