We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team at Absolut Care. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional food service and maintaining a high standard of sanitation and safety for our patients, residents, and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Serve meals that meet established portion control procedures and therapeutic diets
- Assist with daily cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing dining areas
- Operate the dish machine and wash pots and pans according to facility policies
- Transfer food trucks to assigned areas in a safe and timely manner
- Prepare and portion food items, such as desserts, salads, and juices
- Assist with inventory and proper storage of food and supplies
- Provide cleaning and busing of tables in dining rooms
- Accurately take and record temperatures of food, beverages, and equipment
- Follow all safety regulations, food safety regulations, and facility policies
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills and flexibility with work schedule
- Knowledge of environmental services and ability to understand and follow routine oral and written instructions
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as required
