Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Phlebotomist to join our team as a Traveling Phlebotomy Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for performing phlebotomy and other specialized specimen collection procedures for patients in various settings.

Responsibilities
  • Collect and process biological specimens for laboratory testing
  • Perform phlebotomy procedures in in-patient and out-patient settings
  • Process, organize, and transport specimens for laboratory testing
  • Input and extract data using the Laboratory Information System
  • Provide patient care and handle technical issues independently
  • Perform clerical tasks, including answering phones and faxing lab reports
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent education
  • Course in phlebotomy/venipuncture preferred
  • 3 months of phlebotomy work or training experience, including data entry and specimen handling
  • Neonatal/pediatric phlebotomy experience preferred
Preferred Qualifications
  • CPT - Phlebotomy Technician Certification (ASC, AMT, NCCT, or ACA)
Work Environment

This is a traveling position, and you will be required to work in various settings, including hospitals and clinics. You must be able to adapt to different environments and work independently.
