Job Summary

The Shipping Technician I plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient movement of finished products from production to storage. This position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct pre-shift inspections of forklifts and submit required documentation
  • Implement the First-In-First-Out (FIFO) system for product rotation
  • Operate powered or manual low-lift trucks safely and efficiently
  • Inspect trailers for cleanliness and ensure compliance with SQF guidelines
  • Log finished products in inventory and maintain accurate records
  • Ensure assigned areas are cleaned and sanitized according to SSO guidelines
  • Participate in corporate responsibility initiatives, including recycling and social advocacy
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Three years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, perform basic mathematical functions, and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Valid driver's license and forklift certification required
