Job Summary:

The Dietary Aide/Server is a vital member of our food service team at Salem Terrace. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to provide exceptional food service to our residents, guests, and employees in a sanitary and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve meals to residents, guests, and employees in accordance with established dietary policies and procedures.
  • Assist with food preparation, service, and cleaning in the kitchen, ensuring a clean and sanitized environment at all times.
  • Deliver meals promptly and on-time, ensuring that residents receive their meals as scheduled.
  • Label and store food products properly, adhering to regulations and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the food service team to ensure seamless meal service and maintain a positive dining experience for all.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Food service experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and oral instructions.
  • Ability to lift and move items over 50 pounds, and stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.

Working Conditions:

  • Works in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with frequent interruptions and a high level of activity.
  • May be required to work beyond normal working hours, weekends, and holidays, and on other shifts/positions as necessary.
