Job Summary and Qualifications
The Progressive Care Registered Nurse is responsible for coordinating and delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Collaborating with medical professionals, the RN provides both pre-operative and post-operative nursing care while advocating for patients to ensure an exceptional patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patient conditions upon admission and throughout each shift, identifying and reporting any changes.
- Execute procedures as directed by medical providers.
- Document care administration in patient medical records promptly and thoroughly.
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses.
- Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment pertinent to cardiac and medical-surgical care.
Qualifications:
- Current Florida RN Licensure or recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements).
- Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution preferred.
- Current BLS and ACLS Certifications (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
- A minimum of one year of acute care RN experience preferred.
