Role Summary

The Logistics Operations Supervisor is tasked with overseeing the operations of logistics services at a significant national account. This role demands outstanding communication abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and effective team leadership skills.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Leading a team of staff members to ensure efficient completion of tasks.
  • Overseeing the overall performance of the account operations.
  • Coordinating logistics setup and managing team assignments.
  • Generating operational reports and correspondence.
  • Responding to client inquiries outside of standard business hours.
  • Implementing strategies for quality enhancement and training initiatives.
  • Participating in daily operational meetings as necessary.
  • Comprehending logistics setup requirements and technical specifications.
Qualifications
  • Education: A two-year or four-year degree in business is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience: A minimum of four years in the logistics and storage field, including supervisory experience.
  • Licenses/Certifications: None required.
  • Skills: Strong communication skills, proficiency in technology for reporting, and effective team leadership.
