Land Acquisition Manager

RogueSearch is seeking a skilled Land Acquisition Manager to join our team. As a key member of our land acquisition team, you will be responsible for locating, researching, and contracting new land suitable for acquisition and development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct market research and due diligence to identify potential land acquisition opportunities.
  • Determine land values by analyzing public records, developer insights, and other professional affiliations.
  • Negotiate and contract land acquisition agreements.
  • Coordinate land entitlement and planning activities with our development team.
  • Oversee land mapping and review purchase agreements.
  • Coordinate joint venture agreements and manage joint ventures as needed.
  • Ensure adequate staffing and delegate tasks according to employee skills and abilities.
  • Evaluate employee performance and plan compensation actions accordingly.
  • Provide developmental opportunities through internal and external training.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license, as driving is an essential function of this position.
  • Previous experience in residential land acquisition.
  • Strong negotiation and contract skills.
  • Knowledge of market trends, pricing, and growth & supply.
  • Ability to form political connections and strategically implement company goals.
