LPN / Licensed Practical Nurse - Queens

We are seeking compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to work within our client's skilled nursing facilities in Queens, providing follow-through of the physician-established plan of treatment and working under the supervision of the RN Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Instruct patients and their families in proper treatment.
- Help individuals and groups take steps to improve or maintain health.
- Assess and record symptoms and/or reactions and progress in patients.
- Administer patient medications as prescribed by the treating physician.
- Assist in rehabilitation in accordance with the physician's established plan of treatment.
Requirements:
- Currently holds an active LPN license to work in New York.
- CPR Certified (BLS or ALS accepted).
- Meets all State and Federal requirements for US employment in a Nursing Facility.
- Strong patient assessment skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Demonstrated clinical competency.
