Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior RF System Architect to join our R&D team at Insight Global. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing the next generation of smart RF/wireless communication products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop RF system-level architectures to optimize the performance of intelligent integrated RF/wireless communication system-on-chip (SOC)
  • Develop algorithms for smart and cognitive radio, including optimizing PHY layer control of the RF and baseband to achieve cutting-edge performance and winning customers
  • Collaborate with circuit designers and firmware developers for verification flow development of RF integrated system and test automation
  • Support PCB designers in the design and help with the analysis and definition of chip-level RF components, board-level RF circuits, and antennas
  • Serve as a solution provider to customers' technical issues and provide education to field application engineers (FAEs) worldwide

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in RF system design and development
  • Strong knowledge of RF systems and architectures, including transmitters and receivers
  • Experience with MATLAB, Python, C, and VB programming languages
  • Hands-on experience with RF measurement equipment, such as oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and spectrum analyzers
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • Experience with digital signal processing and wireless communication systems
  • Knowledge of microwave engineering, antenna theory, and RF circuits
  • Experience with object-oriented programming and software development
