Job Summary
The Medical Assistant is the first point of contact for patients and provides exceptional care from initial triage to patient discharge. This role involves guiding patients through their visits and carrying out provider orders according to established procedures.
Responsibilities
  • Greet patients, verify their identity, and explain procedures to be performed.
  • Take vital signs, prepare equipment, and assist providers during treatment and examination.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of ordered tests.
  • Observe patients, record significant conditions and reactions, and notify supervisors or providers as needed.
  • Conduct provider referrals and service pre-certifications as required.
  • Document nursing history and physical assessments.
  • Prepare rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean and safe environment.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Certification or diploma in Medical Assisting or MA experience required.
