The Lead ETL Data Integration Developer is a key role in our organization, responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data warehouse and business intelligence solutions. This position leads the Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) development activities and ensures the quality of ETL code.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data into our data warehouse.
- Collaborate with data architects and BI architects to design and develop robust and scalable data solutions.
- Lead the work of assigned staff, providing guidance, training, and feedback.
- Oversee daily office workflow and develop and recommend enhancements to processes and procedures.
- Deliver data integration through the implementation of shared databases, modifications, and optimizations of current systems.
- Optimize data warehouse performance by addressing data conflicts and keeping data definitions up to date.
- Manage complex and critical projects, engaging and updating key stakeholders.
- Lead defect review meetings with business teams and Quality Assurance (QA) leads.
- Provide detailed plans and estimates for all phases of a project.
- Tune and optimize ETL and database processes and frameworks.
- Ensure adherence to data management/governance policies and fix data quality issues.
- Automate processes using UNIX shell and Python scripts.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related fields.
- At least 6 years of experience designing, developing, and testing ETL interfaces.
- At least 3 years of leading process, program, or staff experience.
- Experience in software development with a strong emphasis on data warehousing concepts.
- Experience with Erwin data modeling toolset.
- Extensive experience in strategizing roadmap projects and providing technical supervision.
- Experience in UNIX Shell/Python Scripting for automation of batch and ETL jobs.
- Strong technical skills to learn and lead team to EDM technology roadmap.
- Demonstrated ability in executing I.T. strategies.
- Strong knowledge in identifying strategic business objectives.
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
