Salary and Benefits
The annual compensation for this role ranges from $275,000 to $350,000. The final salary will be determined through a formal pay-setting process that considers education and experience.
As part of the comprehensive rewards package, the position offers:

- Generous paid time off totaling 50-55 days per year, including annual leave, sick leave, and paid federal holidays.

Job Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Conduct thorough clinical assessments, including history-taking and physical examinations.
- Diagnose and manage both hematologic and oncologic emergencies.
- Supervise residents and fellows during inpatient rounds.
- Participate in weekend and holiday coverage as part of a team.
- Perform essential procedures such as bone marrow biopsies and peripheral smear analyses.
- Prescribe chemotherapy and manage treatment plans within the defined scope of practice.
- Engage in multidisciplinary tumor boards and collaborate with various specialties.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions in the electronic medical record system.
Qualifications
To be eligible for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Medical degree from an accredited institution.
- Current, unrestricted medical license to practice in any U.S. state.
- Completion of residency training in an accredited program, leading to board certification eligibility.
- Board certification in Internal Medicine and board eligibility in Hematology and/or Oncology.
Work Schedule
The standard work hours for this position are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
