Job Overview

Position Summary

The Lab Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining the standards of quality and application for finishing materials utilized in Dura Supreme products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversees the procedures and methods employed by spray technicians.
  • Evaluates the quality of incoming finishing materials.
  • Prepares finishing materials and equipment for application processes.
  • Assesses the quality of finished products exiting the Finish department.
  • Tracks inventory levels of spray materials.
  • Prepares and manages special color formulations.
  • Generates reports as required by the Supervisor.
  • Actively participates in a collaborative Work Team environment and adheres to Quality Control protocols.
  • Complies with all Safety Regulations and contributes to a secure working environment.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in finishing processes, including color matching, spraying, and quality assurance.

Work Environment

Employees must be prepared to work in varying climate conditions, including exposure to heat and cold. The work environment is fast-paced with elevated noise levels. There may be exposure to paint fumes and chemicals typical of an industrial paint department. Personal Protective Equipment, as mandated by OSHA, will be supplied by the Company.
