About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Flour Mill Lab Technician to join our team in Statesville, NC. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for performing and recording lab tests on flour samples, maintaining a clean laboratory, and ensuring compliance with company policies and standard laboratory practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform and record lab tests on flour samples according to company policy and standard laboratory practices
  • Maintain a clean laboratory and ensure compliance with company policies and standard laboratory practices
  • Conduct inventories and place orders for laboratory supplies as needed
  • Work collaboratively with the quality assurance team to ensure the highest quality products
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Reliable transportation
  • Availability to work overtime and weekends
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and follow written and/or verbal instructions in English
  • Professional demeanor and safety consciousness
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work in tight and confined spaces
  • Ability to frequently lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds and occasionally more
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE)
