Job SummaryPush N Pull is seeking a skilled Equipment Inspection Mechanic to join their team. As a key member of the shop, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and repairing truck equipment. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of relevant experience, including trailers, trucks, and general mechanics. They will also possess industry-relevant electrical knowledge and a high school education or equivalent. Additionally, they will have a safe, professional, and career-minded attitude, as well as the ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test. The successful candidate will be able to work with minimal supervision and well with others, and will have a current state driver's license and reliable transportation. They will also have experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, as well as the ability to correctly design, build, route, and fabricate hoses for hydraulic appliances. Preferred qualifications include welding experience and installation of snowplows, salt spreaders, and dump bodies. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing state inspections for trailers GVWR 3,001 lbs – 26,000 lbs, accurately recording time and parts for each job order, and continuing education on product lines and industry innovations.
