Job Summary:

The Massage-Body-Hydro Therapist is a key member of our Spa team at Royal Lahaina Resort, responsible for providing exceptional professional service in the administration of massage therapy, body treatments, and hydrotherapy treatments to our discerning guests.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide attentive, friendly, and courteous service to all guests, managers, and fellow employees at all times.
  • Perform various types of massage, including Swedish, Sports, Shiatsu, deep tissue, Reflexology, and other specialized techniques.
  • Be proficient in all components of massage therapy, including anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and other related subjects.
  • Offer a variety of body and hydrotherapy treatments, such as exfoliation, masks, wraps, and other rejuvenating experiences.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the facilities, ensuring that all amenities are in proper working order.
  • Prepare treatment rooms, clean after each treatment, and manage inventory levels of linens and supplies.
  • Provide Spa tours as necessary and promote and sell Spa-approved facial and body products using a prescription pad.
  • Check appointment schedules, print daily activities, and complete daily reports as required.
  • Ensure inventory control through proper usage of products and maintain passing scores on treatment inspections.
  • Maintain current licenses and certifications as required and assist with front desk or locker room functions as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Must be a licensed massage therapist with current certifications in massage therapy, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
  • Must have experience in providing exceptional customer service in a spa or wellness environment.
  • Must be proficient in a variety of body and hydrotherapy treatments and able to perform them with precision and skill.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.
