Job Description

At The Spa at Hyatt Regency Maui Resort, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Massage Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our spa team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional massage therapy services to our guests, while also leading and mentoring our team of massage therapists.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive and professional massage therapy services to guests, including massages, baths, and body therapies.
  • Lead and mentor our team of massage therapists, providing guidance and support to ensure exceptional service delivery.
  • Assist with training and product knowledge for new team members.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service standards, ensuring a positive experience for all guests.
  • Ensure all spa facilities and equipment are maintained to the highest standards.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Current HI Massage Therapy License.
  • At least 3-5 years experience in a Massage Therapist position, preferably in a hotel/resort.
  • Polished, professional, and strong command of both written and verbal English.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and apply pressure with hands.
  • Knowledge of Massage Theory, Anatomy and Physiology.
  • Basic Computer software skills.

Compensation: 32% Service Commission vs Hourly + Service Charge + Retail Commission
