Founded by experienced emergency room psychiatrists, we have spent over three decades providing care to those in crisis. We operate two of the largest and most researched crisis response centers in the nation and are continually expanding our reach to serve more individuals in need.
Key Responsibilities:
This role involves overseeing the operational and administrative functions of the facility during the assigned shift, ensuring optimal processes for patient care and resource management. Responsibilities include:
- Managing the daily operations of the unit to guarantee efficient and consistent clinical care.
- Coordinating patient flow through the facility, including delegating tasks across various disciplines and facilitating admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Ensuring compliance with Utilization Management and Revenue Cycle Management standards for accurate service coding and billing.
- Addressing and resolving escalated issues from both internal and external stakeholders while identifying barriers to patient flow.
- Maintaining adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Assisting in the training and orientation of new staff members, collaborating with managers for comprehensive onboarding.
- Implementing de-escalation techniques to maintain a safe environment for all.
- Working alongside clinical and administrative leaders to address performance and behavioral concerns.
- Providing guidance and oversight in Safe Clinch techniques.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in direct clinical care, with a background in Nursing, Social Services, or Behavioral Health Support.
- At least 2 years of leadership experience.
- Proven ability to foster collaboration across various disciplines.
- Understanding of utilization management and revenue cycle processes in behavioral health.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years of clinical experience in a crisis behavioral health environment.
- 3 years of leadership experience.
