We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Unit Nurse Manager to lead our nursing team and provide high-quality care to our residents. As a Unit Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for managing the staffing needs, supervising nursing staff, and ensuring the delivery of excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the staffing needs and provide supervision for nursing staff to ensure quality resident care.
- Assist in staff development and provide guidance to Clinical Nurses and Nurse Assistants.
- Conduct and document a complete data collection of each resident's medical status upon admission and throughout their course of treatment.
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans for each assigned resident.
- Recruit and hire nursing staff to ensure adequate coverage.
- Monitor compliance with resident record documentation requirements.
- Coordinate staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
- Ensure compliance with resident rights policies and work with families and other staff to resolve grievances.
Requirements:
- Current, unencumbered, active state license to practice as an RN or LPN.
- Minimum 3 years of nursing experience, preferably in a setting serving the same age/type of resident population served by this facility.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in nursing administration.
