Key Responsibilities:

  • Familiarity with the Steps of Service.
  • Utilizes effective sales techniques to enhance check averages.
  • Verifies guest identification to ensure compliance with legal drinking age regulations.
  • Processes orders accurately through the register system and communicates necessary details to kitchen and bar staff.
  • Maintains high standards of food and beverage quality and freshness.
  • Observes and addresses guest needs promptly.
  • Handles guest feedback professionally and escalates issues to management when necessary.
  • Maintains cleanliness of tables during service.
  • Adheres to food safety and sanitation protocols.
  • Refills beverages as needed.
  • Completes all assigned opening and closing tasks and checks out with management before leaving.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • Prior experience in restaurant, retail, or customer service preferred.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Proficient in operating the POS system.
  • Ability to listen and respond to guests while collaborating with team members.
  • Willingness to assist with events and be cross-trained in various roles.
  • Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
  • Positive and enthusiastic demeanor.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Professional appearance and grooming.
  • Availability to work holidays, weekends, and various shifts.
  • Reliable transportation and communication device.
  • Proficient in English communication, if applicable.
  • Commitment to providing friendly and prompt customer service.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members.
