Job Summary

Soliant is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in a school setting. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing students referred for possible speech and language needs, providing individual and/or group therapy sessions, and developing individualized education plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess students referred for possible speech and language needs, utilizing standardized assessments and clinical judgment to identify areas of strength and weakness.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that address the unique needs of each student, in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
  • Provide individual and/or group therapy sessions to students with identified speech and language disorders, using evidence-based practices and techniques.
  • Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement strategies to support students with speech and language needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress, including assessment results, treatment plans, and progress monitoring data.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure that students receive comprehensive support and services.
Requirements
  • Washington State Speech-Language Pathology license
  • ESA (Educational Staff Associate) credential, issued by the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with students with diverse backgrounds and abilities
  • Knowledge of Washington State Special Education procedures and best practices for Speech-Language Pathologists in school settings
