Front Desk Agent

At Hyatt Regency Boston/Cambridge, we are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Front Desk Agent to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Guest Welcome and Check-in: Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude, creating a positive first impression.
  • Check-in and Check-out: Efficiently handle check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Information and Assistance: Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
  • Guest Resolution: Respond to guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Payment and Record-Keeping: Process guest payments and maintain accurate records.
  • Team Collaboration: Coordinate with other departments to fulfill guest requests and ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Front Desk Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
  • Administrative Support: Assist in administrative tasks, such as answering phone calls and handling reservations.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Cash Handling Experience: Prior cash handling experience necessary.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills.
  • Computer Skills: Very good computer skills.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Multi-Tasking: Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer Service Experience: Experience in customer service is preferred.
  • Hotel Operations Knowledge: Knowledge of hotel or resort operations is a plus.
