Position Overview
EBAD is currently seeking a Process Improvement Specialist. This role will report to the Business Process Engineering Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess existing business workflows to pinpoint opportunities for enhancement.
- Identify issues within current methodologies and formulate action plans to redesign, implement, and oversee business processes for optimal effectiveness.
- Provide guidance on interpreting and adapting quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze previous audit results to identify systemic root causes, ensuring no significant findings during customer and periodic audits.
- Research and assess contemporary business practices and advancements to modernize systems, focusing on productivity and efficiency.
- Develop metrics for measuring business process performance and continuously strive for process improvements.
- Conduct GAP Analysis.
- Establish and maintain training and competency frameworks for business processes.
- Define and manage IFS Scripts and AD procedures.
- Lead internal audits, AS9100 audits, and customer audits for assigned processes, providing root cause analysis and corrective action responses for process deviations.
- Collaborate with users and stakeholders to develop initiatives based on business requirements and needs.
- Educate and inform employees about solutions and their roles within the business processes.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a related role.
- Strong understanding of Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing principles, and problem-solving techniques, along with in-depth knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.
- Familiarity with Present Mode of Operation (PMO) and Future Mode of Operation (FMO) concepts.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Proficient in MS Windows applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and capable of utilizing Microsoft Teams and Project.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Working knowledge of AS9100 Rev D.
- Experience engaging with senior-level decision-makers.
- Knowledge and expertise in the aerospace industry.
Salary Range: $85,000-$135,000 per year. Compensation is based on the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and market alignment.
