About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Policy and Regulatory Analyst to join our team at NineDot Energy. As a key member of our Regulatory Affairs department, you will play a critical role in shaping the company's policy and regulatory strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth research on current and emerging policies related to clean technology, including energy storage, electric vehicles, and other emerging technologies.
  • Track and analyze federal, state, and local legislation and regulations that impact energy storage, identifying opportunities and risks for the organization.
  • Collaborate with industry stakeholders, government agencies, trade organizations, and environmental justice groups to gather insights and build support for policy initiatives.
  • Develop and present policy and regulatory recommendations to internal and external audiences, including government officials, industry leaders, and the public.
  • Analyze data related to energy storage deployment, market trends, and environmental impacts to inform policy and regulatory development.
Requirements
  • University degree required with 3 or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Background in renewable energy and energy storage policy and regulation.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills, with experience engaging with leadership teams.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills related to large data sets.
