About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate nurse to join our ICU team. The ideal candidate will have 1 year of experience as a staff nurse in an acute care/hospital setting and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree. Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program is also accepted. Additionally, the candidate must hold a current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or a Compact Registered Nursing License.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform and document patient assessments at admission and throughout the stay
  • Create a plan of care, including discharge plans, and revise as necessary based on patient response to treatment
  • Document outcomes of nursing interventions and patient responses
  • Provide educational materials to patients and families on care and treatments
  • Administer medications and complete treatments according to hospital policy
  • Review new physician orders, ensure they are carried out correctly, and notify other departments as needed
