Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Critical Care Apheresis Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care in multiple modalities, including therapeutic plasma exchange, RBC exchange and depletion, PLT and WBC depletions, PBSC and WBC collections, Photopheresis, and LDL apheresis.

You will work closely with hospital staff and physicians to ensure the highest level of care is provided to patients. Your duties will include:

  • Assessing patients' responses to therapeutic apheresis treatments and making adjustments as needed.
  • Implementing, administering, and monitoring patient treatment plans.
  • Providing education to patients and families on apheresis treatments and related procedures.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation of patient treatment plans and outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid RN license in good standing.
  • At least one year of experience in critical care or apheresis nursing.
  • Demonstrated strong assessment skills and ability to think critically.
  • Knowledge of therapeutic apheresis procedures and protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
