HiFyve is seeking a qualified Maintenance Electrician to join our team.
Compensation:
$40+/hr (negotiable)
Work Schedule:
5am-2pm (flexible up to 7am-4pm) Monday to Friday, minimal overtime required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of production, tool room, and material handling machinery.
- Operate and maintain stamping presses, automatic coiling machines, punch presses, multi-slide machines, and other industrial equipment.
- Disassemble and reassemble equipment as necessary, replacing or repairing defective parts to ensure optimal functionality.
- Conduct rebuilding of production machinery, including the inspection and replacement of worn components, testing, and adjustments.
- Address issues related to building systems, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and environmental controls.
- Analyze and resolve problems, disassemble units, replace faulty components, and conduct functionality tests.
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical power lines, control panels, circuits, and related systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks such as lubrication, oil changes, and filter replacements on machinery.
- Install new equipment, ensuring proper connections for power, water, and air, along with safety device installations.
Additional Duties:
- Carry out various building maintenance tasks, including electrical, carpentry, plumbing, and roofing work.
- Conduct maintenance inspections and keep accurate logs.
- Adhere to lockout/tag-out procedures during maintenance activities.
- Utilize forklifts for the removal and installation of machine components.
Qualifications:
- 6-10 years of experience in mechanical and electrical roles within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven safety record and strong work ethic.
- Flexibility to work first or modified first shifts, with potential for overtime.
- Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing electrical panels, circuits, and PLCs.
- Skilled in mechanical repairs and operation of various machinery.
- Knowledgeable in pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
- Competent in operating milling machines, lathes, and other precision tools.
- Capable of performing general building maintenance tasks.
- Proficient in using machine tools, electrical testing equipment, and welding tools.
- Physically able to lift 50 pounds unassisted and maintain extended periods of standing or kneeling.
