Position Overview:


We are seeking an Assembly Technician specializing in Offline Repair to facilitate the construction and relocation of Hillphoenix cases throughout the assembly workflow, ensuring the utmost safety for employees and achieving superior quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret and understand an 'A' order.
  • Manage and operate all stations on any production assembly line.
  • Recognize components utilized on the designated product line and their respective positions on the product.
  • Adapt to various workstations as production demands fluctuate.
  • Collaborate with the assembly team to complete unit assembly.
  • Identify power and hand tools relevant to the assigned product line.
  • Utilize provided information for material gauging and dimensioning.
  • Conduct necessary preventive maintenance on tools and equipment.
  • Foster, promote, and sustain a safe working environment.
  • Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of fundamental safety protocols and model the correct use of safety gear.
  • Oversee daily operations in the work area to meet production targets.
  • Uphold the highest quality standards, striving for zero defects.
  • Continuously seek improvements across all areas.
  • Train and mentor team members on manufacturing practices, quality assurance, and safety protocols.
  • Identify components and their descriptions using work order details.
  • Communicate job progress between shifts and ensure continuity of work.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Quickly adapt to changing business needs.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to perform tasks involving standing, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, squatting, or kneeling.
  • Capability to lift weights up to 50 lbs, with or without mechanical assistance, on a regular basis.

Work is conducted in a production setting, subject to variations in temperature, exposure to hazardous materials, mechanical components, elevated noise levels, and dust.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least six months of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Six months or more of experience on various current Hillphoenix assembly lines.
