Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Fabrication Specialist to join our team. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for the fabrication of aerospace and defense filtration components. Your primary duties will include:
- Efficiently performing tasks such as close tolerance hole drilling, countersinking, fastener installation, rivet installation, trimming, and assembly.
- Conducting in-process inspections using micrometers, rulers, and calipers.
- Ensuring compliant manufacture and workmanship of assemblies, as defined by engineering data and plant procedures.
- Working with and around a variety of chemicals and following all standards regarding Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Interpreting engineering drawings, work instructions, and other documents to ensure proper build completion.
- Effectively documenting job completion paperwork and accurately managing records and timekeeping.
Requirements:
- High school degree or equivalent.
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant license a plus, but not required.
- Military experience is a plus.
- Desirable attributes include a positive attitude, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and availability to work overtime as necessary.
