Job SummaryThis is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a highly skilled Crane Hoist Mechanic to work with our team of experts. As a Crane Hoist Mechanic Specialist, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing various types of crane hoists and heavy-duty lifting equipment.
This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Inspection and Diagnosis: Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues with crane hoists.
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults: Use blueprints and wiring diagrams to diagnose faults and ensure optimal performance.
- Maintenance and Repair: Perform preventive maintenance tasks such as lubrication, adjustments, and part replacements.
- Repair or replace damaged or worn parts: Ensure optimal performance of crane hoists by repairing or replacing damaged or worn parts.
- Conduct load tests and safety checks: Comply with safety regulations by conducting load tests and safety checks.
This is an expert-level position that requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and DOT certification. The ideal candidate will have experience working with crane hoists and heavy-duty lifting equipment.
Aerotek offers a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience, plus benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, health advocacy, and employee assistance programs.
