Job Title: Electro-Mechanic (Sat-Tues 5a-5p)

At Techo-Bloc, we're seeking a skilled Electro-Mechanic to join our team. As an Electro-Mechanic, you will be responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and replacing mechanical components, as well as performing electrical maintenance and troubleshooting tasks.

Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and repair mechanical components, including motors, gearboxes, drive chains, and conveyor belts.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues, including circuit analysis and component replacement.
  • Perform welding and fabrication tasks, including making hydraulic hoses and repairing hydraulic cylinders.
  • Operate various shop tools, including band saws, torches, drill presses, and grinders.
  • Install new equipment and align machines using hoists, jacks, and hand tools.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in electromechanics, industrial maintenance, or a related field.
  • Proficient in power tools, measuring devices, and lathe and/or milling machinery.
  • Previous experience with bearing heaters, interference fits, and/or removing gearboxes or seized bearings/shafts.
  • Previous experience with stick and MIG welding.
  • Proficient in electrical skills, including circuit analysis and component replacement.
