Ultrasound Technician PRN Job Overview

Medical City Plano is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technician PRN to perform high-quality diagnostic, neuro, and vascular ultrasound procedures. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care and education, while supporting departmental goals and promoting Excellence Always skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform and assist with ultrasound procedures, focusing on patient care and education.
  • Support and help achieve departmental goals.
  • Effectively participate and promote Excellence Always skills, including service recovery.
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Prefer 1 year of prior ultrasound experience, including vascular, OB, abdomen, neuro, and/or trauma patients.
  • Sonography, Ultrasonographer, or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer certification.
  • Registered Vascular Technician (RVT) or Vascular Sonography certification.
