Overview
As a Financial Analyst within our Financial Planning and Analysis team, you will be a vital contributor to our collaborative environment, engaging with various organizational levels. Your role will involve direct interaction with finance colleagues and collaboration with departments such as Accounting, Acquisitions, Underwriting, Tax, and Legal to assess current operations and explore new strategic initiatives for the organization and its investment entities.
Reporting Structure
You will report directly to the Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis, who is committed to fostering the development of their team and prioritizes internal promotions. This position offers significant visibility, as you will regularly interact with investors, executive team members, and representatives from our financial sponsor.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform financial planning and analysis to support ongoing operations and strategic initiatives.
- Create presentation materials for board meetings, capital raising efforts, and transactional activities.
- Assist in treasury functions, including capital allocation and compliance.
- Support daily corporate and private fund administration tasks.
- Prepare regular and ad hoc reporting for investors.
- Undertake additional responsibilities related to the organization's operations as assigned.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Recent graduate with a degree in business administration, finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
- Familiarity with financial modeling techniques, including DCF and LBO analysis.
- Prior experience through internships or full-time roles in finance is preferred.
- Involvement in diverse extracurricular or civic activities is advantageous.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Proficient in Excel (including complex functions), PowerPoint, and Word.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and effectively communicate progress.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
Work Environment
- This position is based at our corporate headquarters.
- Hybrid work schedule is available, with an expectation of in-office presence as needed.
Compensation and Benefits
- This is a full-time position.
- Starting salary range is competitive, based on experience and qualifications.
- Annual discretionary bonus opportunities are available.
