Job Summary:

The Routine Clinical Lab Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the laboratory, including On Time Performance (OTP), Turnaround Time (TAT), and Quality metrics. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage laboratory staff and ensure compliance with applicable regulations. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of laboratory procedures and be able to troubleshoot technical issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise laboratory staff and ensure compliance with laboratory policies and procedures.
  • Manage laboratory operations, including workflow, productivity, and quality metrics.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of laboratory results.
  • Collaborate with laboratory staff to resolve technical issues and improve laboratory processes.
  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure laboratory staff are competent in laboratory procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including laboratory safety and quality metrics.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science.
  • 2 years previous supervisory experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
  • Strong understanding of laboratory procedures and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in a clinical laboratory science or related field.
  • Medical Technologist certification from AAB or equivalent.
  • Experience with laboratory information systems and quality control procedures.
