The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of laboratory procedures and be able to troubleshoot technical issues.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise laboratory staff and ensure compliance with laboratory policies and procedures.
- Manage laboratory operations, including workflow, productivity, and quality metrics.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of laboratory results.
- Collaborate with laboratory staff to resolve technical issues and improve laboratory processes.
- Develop and implement training programs to ensure laboratory staff are competent in laboratory procedures.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including laboratory safety and quality metrics.
- Bachelor's Degree in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science.
- 2 years previous supervisory experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
- Strong understanding of laboratory procedures and regulations.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Master's or Doctoral degree in a clinical laboratory science or related field.
- Medical Technologist certification from AAB or equivalent.
- Experience with laboratory information systems and quality control procedures.
