Overview

AdeIphi Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team as a Healthcare Assistant in Monroe Township, NJ. This contract/travel position offers an exciting opportunity for professionals to provide high-quality patient care and develop their skills in a dynamic environment.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $1,016/40 hours (travel) or $888/40 hours (local). This competitive rate reflects the importance of our team members' contributions to delivering exceptional patient care.

Job Description

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting patients with daily living activities and providing nursing care. Your duties may include:

  • Performing rounds of patients receiving medical or psychiatric care, documenting observations and any changes in their condition.
  • Reporting vital signs and other essential information to the Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Obtaining specimens for diagnostic testing and preparing them for laboratory analysis.
  • Assisting non-custody staff with patient care tasks and supporting the overall functioning of the healthcare team.
  • Preparing documentation for patient transfers, appointments, and other relevant events.

You will also be responsible for maintaining equipment, adhering to infection control protocols, and contributing to a positive work environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • A valid CNA Certificate or State License.
  • BLS certification.
