Order Taker/Expo Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Order Taker/Expo to join our team at Kincaid's Hamburgers. As a key member of our front-of-house staff, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide outstanding customer service, responding promptly to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Take accurate and efficient orders, ensuring that all menu items are prepared correctly and delivered to customers in a timely manner.
  • Upsell menu items to increase sales and enhance the customer experience.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards and company policies.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure that orders are prepared correctly and delivered to customers in a timely manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, including front-of-house cleaning and stocking duties.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods, with frequent lifting and carrying of items weighing up to 30 pounds.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; prior experience in a food service environment preferred.
