Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Communication Specialist to join our team at Premier Health Partners. As a key member of our Communications Center, you will be responsible for operating multiple aircraft and ground transport vehicles, ensuring seamless communication and coordination with our team and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate the Communication Center, managing multiple aircraft and ground transport vehicles
  • Coordinate with team members and external partners to ensure efficient communication and response
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to patients and families
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in communication and emergency medical services

Requirements

  • High school completion or equivalent required; certified Emergency Medical Technician or Paramedic in Ohio or equivalent experience preferred
  • 1-3 years of job-related experience; experience in EMS dispatching or as an EMS provider a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work well under pressure and multitask efficiently
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays

Working Conditions

  • Must be able to sit/stand at work station for at least 12 hours
  • Must be able to sit at a computer with multiple monitors for extended periods
  • Must be able to work with a telephone and radio system
  • Must be able to multi-task efficiently
