Mass General Brigham, a renowned healthcare provider, is seeking an experienced Nurse Specialist to join their Cardiovascular Device Management team in Rollinsford, New Hampshire. As a critical member of this team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless management of implantable devices and providing high-quality patient care.
The estimated salary for this position ranges from $83,000 to $112,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This figure is based on industry standards and market conditions in the region.
About the RoleWe are looking for a skilled nurse with extensive experience in device management, preferably with a background in cardiovascular nursing. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing comprehensive plans of care for patients with implantable devices.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated and effective care delivery.
- Providing support to healthcare professionals and patients regarding dysrhythmias, implanted devices, and invasive procedures.
Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring rhythm, documenting device settings, and adjusting therapy as per physician orders. If you have experience with implantable devices, Transtelephonic monitoring (TTM), and cardiac resynchronization, this is an ideal opportunity to apply your skills.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in nursing, preferably in a device management setting.
- Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office programs and database management.
- Excellent organization, interpersonal, communication, and conflict management skills.
- A strong understanding of Pacemakers, ICDs, BiV, and Loop recorder devices.
