Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and patient Caregiver Assistant to join our team. As a Caregiver Assistant, you will provide support and care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them to live well and achieve their goals.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Support individuals with developmental goals, such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition
  • Develop real, meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve
  • Take initiative to help participants be part of the community and enjoy their favorite activities
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (depending on program)
  • Team Lead Experience: Six months of professional experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination is required
  • Skills: Communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, time-management
  • Behaviors: Patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible
  • Vehicle: Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
