As a Nursing Professional, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

The estimated annual salary for this position is $83,500 based on national averages for a Registered Nurse in Michigan.


Responsibilities



  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring patient vital signs
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs and goals of each patient
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to ensure that patient needs are met and that families are informed and involved in the care process
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote safe and effective patient care

Requirements


To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • A current Michigan nursing license
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree or an agreement to obtain a BSN within five years
  • Experience working in a medical-surgical setting, preferably with a focus on complex high-acuity patients
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • A commitment to providing high-quality patient-centered care and a passion for delivering exceptional patient experiences
