Position: Production Supervisor
Department: Production
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the production team to achieve various operational targets and performance metrics.
- Design and refine production schedules, supervise manufacturing processes, and ensure timely completion of production assignments.
- Monitor production progress in accordance with operational plans, coordinate activities across different workshops, and manage labor allocation and equipment/material scheduling.
- Establish and enforce standards and protocols related to production timelines, safety, and quality assurance.
- Enhance equipment management by proposing upgrades and maintenance plans, ensuring regular upkeep to maximize equipment efficiency.
- Manage costs associated with labor, equipment, and materials.
- Conduct regular production meetings to assess performance and develop solutions to address challenges.
- Formulate and execute material procurement and supply chain strategies to address production material shortages promptly.
- Ensure technical and quality assurance responsibilities are met, addressing issues swiftly and reporting significant problems to management.
- Participate in training initiatives in Southeast Asia and China as required.
Qualifications:
- Associate Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical institution, or two years of relevant experience and/or training; or a combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated experience as a Production Supervisor in PV module, semiconductor, or electronics manufacturing environments is preferred.
- Strong leadership capabilities with a proven ability to motivate teams towards achieving production and quality objectives.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and clear articulation of goals.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance process efficiency and optimization.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
