Job Description

This role combines expertise in human resources and finance to support the organization's operations. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and analytical skills, with a unique blend of detail-oriented and organizational capabilities.

Responsibilities and Qualifications
  • Human Resources Functions:
    • Employee Recruitment and Hiring: Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
    • Employee Benefits Administration: Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave management.
    • Employee Relations and Conflict Resolution: Serve as a point of contact for employees on HR-related matters, addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and providing guidance on company policies and procedures.
    • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and maintain employee files and records.
  • Finance Functions:
    • Payroll Management: Prepare and process bi-weekly payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
    • Financial Planning and Analysis: Monitor and report on grant funding allocations, ensuring compliance with grant guidelines and regulations.
  • Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • 3+ years of experience in dual HR/finance role or in separate HR and finance positions.
    • Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and accounting principles.
    • Proficiency in HR and accounting software.
