Job Title: Behavioral Health Technician

Banyan Treatment Centers, a leading provider of addiction and mental health services, is seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Technician to join our team in Castle Rock, CO.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented individual to provide exceptional care and support to our patients. As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will play a vital role in the daily operations of our facility, collaborating with the Treatment Team to ensure the highest level of care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and document patient behaviors to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Conduct headcounts, as instructed by Management, in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Promote and support patient safety consistently.
  • Demonstrate the ability to deescalate situations.
  • Provide emotional support to patients, referring to Clinical as needed.
  • Communicate with Nursing and Medical if medical assistance is required.
  • Assist with patient transportation, as needed.
  • Conduct urine drug screenings and supervise medication self-administration.
Requirements:
  • A safe driving record with a clean DMV report for the last 3 years.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age, in compliance with motor vehicle insurance requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Work experience in the field of behavioral and/or mental health treatment.
  • An associate's degree (or higher) and/or relevant certification (CPRS).
