Job Summary

BAART Programs is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our team in Porterville, CA. As a key member of our medical staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to our mission of addressing the opioid crisis.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Assist in admitting patients for Methadone and Buprenorphine Treatment
  • Obtain a thorough history and perform physical exams
  • Document patient information and enter orders for medication in the EMR
  • Authorize and supervise the dispensing of daily narcotic replacement therapy and other medications
  • Monitor patient dosages and collaborate with the Program Physician/Medical Director, Treatment Center Director, Counselors, and Dosing Nurses
Requirements
  • Must be licensed and in good standing in the state of California
  • Knowledge of drug rehabilitation/training required
  • One year of primary care experience required
