Role Summary

The selected candidate will deliver practical mechanical support at Orlando International Airport, concentrating on the maintenance and repair of automated check-in and bag-drop systems. The ideal applicant should be proficient with hand tools, capable of performing preventive maintenance, and adept at troubleshooting mechanical challenges. Besides routine maintenance tasks, the individual must be ready for on-call duties, ensuring prompt responses to any operational incidents. Comprehensive training will be provided, and parking expenses will be reimbursed.

Availability: Candidates must demonstrate flexible availability for on-call support, ideally balancing this role with other commitments, such as freelance work or varied schedules.

Position Type: This is a part-time, non-exempt role requiring onsite work totaling 5 hours of maintenance bi-weekly, along with on-call readiness for incident response.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Must possess a mobile device capable of capturing images for documentation.
  • Basic understanding of computer hardware and Windows operating systems.
  • Comfortable executing repairs and adjustments using provided tools.
  • Ability to independently assess and resolve standard mechanical issues.
  • Proficient in interpreting various forms of documentation, including manuals and wiring diagrams.

Education and Experience:
