Salary RangeThe salary for this position is estimated to be between $72,700 and $145,300 annually, depending on factors such as location, experience, and qualifications.
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Structural Heart Specialist Lead to join our team. As a key member of our clinical sales team, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and advancing market share in the structural heart space.
Your primary responsibility will be to support Abbott's TAVI US clinical trial and commercial case coverage, trial enrollment, and sales support. You will collaborate with Regional Sales Directors and the Clinical Lead Manager to develop and execute regional strategies, drive procedural growth, and ensure high standards of clinical outcomes.
In addition, you will provide training and support to field teams, conduct site visits, and build strong relationships with research coordinators, physician investigators, and other stakeholders. Your expertise in TAVI therapy and industry will be invaluable in identifying clinical needs, goals, and constraints related to patient care and providing creative solutions to meet these challenges.
This role requires strong clinical orientation, experience with products used in interventional cardiology, cardiac surgery, endovascular procedures, or TEVAR, EVAR, or TCAR. Familiarity with echo, CT, and fluoro imaging modalities is strongly preferred. Experience with 100+ TAVI cases is also highly valued.
Key Responsibilities- Support Abbott's TAVI US clinical trial and commercial case coverage, trial enrollment, and sales support
- Collaborate with Regional Sales Directors and the Clinical Lead Manager to develop and execute regional strategies
- Provide training and support to field teams
- Conduct site visits and build strong relationships with research coordinators, physician investigators, and other stakeholders
- Identify clinical needs, goals, and constraints related to patient care and provide creative solutions
- Ensure high standards of clinical outcomes and procedural success rates
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent clinical degree (e.g., RCIS, Certified Cardiology Technician, Registered nurse, Nurse Practitioner, Transcatheter Cardiovascular Surgical/Scrub technician, Physician Assistant)
- Verification of vendor credentialing requirements, including vaccination for COVID-19 (accommodations available upon request)
- Clinical sales experience, preferably in interventional cardiology, cardiac surgery, or endovascular procedures
- Clinical Sales Specialist, Level 2: 6 years related clinical work experience required; strong clinical orientation, experience with products used in interventional cardiology, cardiac surgery, endovascular procedures, or TEVAR, EVAR, or TCAR; familiarity with echo, CT, and fluoro imaging modalities; 100+ TAVI case experience preferred
- Clinical Sales Specialist, Level 3: 9 years related clinical work experience required; strong clinical orientation, experience with products used in interventional cardiology, cardiac surgery, endovascular procedures, or TEVAR, EVAR, or TCAR; familiarity with echo, CT, and fluoro imaging modalities; 300+ TAVI case experience preferred
