We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team at a hospital in New Britain, Connecticut. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our healthcare team.

Job Summary:

This is a 13-week travel assignment with the possibility of extension. You will work 40 hours per week, with 8-hour shifts, and have the opportunity to earn a tax-free stipend. Our Respiratory Therapist will provide respiratory care services to individual patients and their families, responding to medical emergencies and performing routine maintenance on equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care services to patients, including oxygen therapy, ventilation, and aerosol therapy
  • Respond to medical emergencies and provide life-saving interventions
  • Perform routine maintenance on respiratory equipment
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
Requirements:
  • Must be a Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner
  • 1-2 years minimum acute care experience
  • Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Active Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Active Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to handle a multi-task environment
  • Basic PC skills
