The Women's Business Development Center is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to serve as the Associate Director, Entrepreneurial Services Program and Services. This role is responsible for supporting the delivery of programming that provides business development services and resources to nascent and emerging entrepreneurs, including those that are economically disadvantaged and underserved.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the planning, organization, and facilitation of WBDC's Entrepreneurial programming and services, including workshops, events, and training sessions.
- Support client advising, including assessing and supporting client needs, and providing guidance on business development strategies.
- Assist in managing and coordinating resources, community partnerships, and various subject-matter experts for execution of programming and services.
- Work with the marketing team to manage promotion of, and outreach for, workshops, events, and training sessions.
- Represent the WBDC at trade shows and events through networking, presentations, and public speaking.
- Align with the WBDC's overall strategic goals and objectives.
- Strong analytical skills and financial acumen.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- 2+ years of work experience in business development, program management, or a related field.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, or a related field.
- Passion for women's issues and economic empowerment.
The WBDC offers a competitive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, long-term care insurance, pre-tax commuter benefits, personal, sick, and vacation paid time off, life insurance, pre-tax flexible spending account and dependent care benefit, and a 401(k) retirement plan with company matching.
The salary range for this position within the WBDC is $55,000 - $70,000 annually, commensurate with experience and skillset.
